DIY Projector India 60 Thermostat
DIY Projector India 60 Thermostat
Thermostat
A normally closed temperature protection switch, also known as a temperature relay, temperature control switch, or temperature-sensitive switch, is designed to monitor the operating temperature of a target object (e.g., the lamp chamber of a projector or the radiator of an LED). At room temperature, the switch’s two electrodes are closed. When the temperature of the detected object reaches or exceeds the preset threshold, the switch automatically opens the connection between the electrodes, cutting off the circuit. This mechanism provides overheating protection for electrical devices.
In the case of high-power LEDs, the typical working temperature is set below 60°C. The temperature protection switch is used to control the opening and closing of the LED circuit, thereby preventing overheating and potential damage to the LEDs. It serves as an ideal safety device for DIY projectors, ensuring reliable protection against thermal damage.
Normally Closed! for switching off LED if LED temperature exceeds 60 degrees
